Who I am

First and foremost, I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. I received my Masters of Social Work from Wheelock College (Boston University) and hold the LICSW licensure. I have worked in community crisis treatment, individual and group treatments through non profits, and Private Practice. I am from New England, but now live in Minneapolis Minnesota and hold great pride in my community.

As a clinician, I have 10+ years of experience providing trauma informed care for children, and adults. I also have experience with family therapy - both individually and providing group sessions.

As my career has moved forward, I have felt a pull to focus primarily on providing treatment for women and female identifying individuals, focusing on issues that effect them from teenhood on. This includes but is not limited to, body image issues, sexual violence, identity exploration, relationship issues and stressors, fertility struggles, pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and motherhood stressors.

I am trained in providing treatment utilizing many modalities such as CBT, DBT, IFS and more. Above all, I prioritize client based therapy. I believe that the client is the expert of their own life, and is capable of great positive change. Because of this, I acknowledge that the rapport between the clinician and client holds great power in allowing you to feel empowered to be honest and truly use the therapy space to its largest potential. I will provide and foster a supportive and empowering environment, and am always open to hearing how I can best support those that I serve.

In my spare time, I enjoy exploring nature with my family, getting lost in a good book, challenging myself with a new craft or skill, and cooking!
